More than 30,000 trees were lost during HUrrican Ike in 2008. A campaign to create tree sculptures from the remaining trunks exhibits the creativity and resilience of islanders. This sculpture is a nod to King Vidor, one of directors of the Wizard of Oz, who was born in this house.
